Descargar y subir Torrent desde el Router

Hola. Tengo un disco duro externo y quiero descargar torrents conectándolo al puerto USB del router para no tener el PC encendido. Hay 2 alternativas económicas: adquirir un router TP-Link Archer C7 AC1750 que tiene el cliente aMule, o algún otro router al que pueda instalar Openwrt y el cliente Transmission. ¿Han probado alguno o que recomiendan?

Yo me haría con un router Xiaomi con soporte OpenWRT y USB, por ejemplo este:

https://openwrt.org/toh/xiaomi/mir3g

Es lo más práctico.

Encontré el Tp-Link Archer C7 y el A7, tienen el cliente Amule. Tienen soporte OpenWRT.
También encontré el Asus AC66U. Este tiene soporte Tomato. Este router tiene puerto USB 3.0.
